Topic: IT IS FINALLY FRIDAY
Good morning to all.just thought i would get on here and check up on everyone.how has your week been.i know you are glad the weekend is here.
anyone have any plans for next weekend.hard to believe it is the 4 of july weekend already next weekend.
sure is going to be hot.the weather said around here that by thursday and friday next week we could see temps of 102 or more and that is not even the heat index.our grass is growing again already.i told andy need to cut it early in the day when it is not too hot.
the other day i had a prayer request for a friend of ours from mo.her son in law had a stroke.the praise report is that he is doing much better than the doctor's thought he would be doing and his talking has improved a lot and he went home from the hospital already.
i have to finish my protien coffee and get ready for work soon.we love all of you,hope to hear from you all.have a great day god bless.susan

Good morning to all.how is your week going soo far for you.this week is flying by soo fast.next weekend is 4 of july weekend already.have a year gone.
it was not as hot here yesterday as it has been but it sure is not going to last for long.they said by tuesday back up to 99 degress with the heat index in the 100's.too hot.
lana as for your frozen shoulder i had one taken care of a few months ago.my left shoulder was the same way your's is.for a while i had pain and could not lift it up very far at all.my reg doctor sent me to a bone doctor and he said i had the worst frozen shoulder he ever saw.he said i had a lot of scare tissue from when i had high blood sugar problem's.he said it is a common problem for people who had high blood sugar.they dont know why it happens it just does.
the doctor who took care of me said his brother had bad blood sugar problems and both of his shoulders were frozen and had to be taken care of.
they had to put me under to unfreeze mine and when i was under the doctor who gave me the meds to put me out ask him if he had broken my shoulder that's how loud my shoulder was cracking and popping.
they gave me a pain blocker then after that wore off pain meds to take you will need them but it is better to get it done in the long run.i had to have pt for a while too.we will be praying for you.

we have a prayer request.a good friend of ours from caldona mo we went to church with her son in law had a stroke last sat.he is a st louis hospital.they are doing test to see if he has some blockage.he work's on heavy machine equipment and they dont know if he will even be able to return to work or not.he has two small children a son and daughter.he is only 37 years old.

Hello Hot Missouri!
I went to the doctor for my sore shoulder and he told me it is a "frozen" shoulder and I will have to have a procedure done under general anesthesia to "break" it loose and then go to therapy for two weeks every day.
UGH!! But, I'm so tired of hurting. Anyone else have experience with this mess?

Hello to all.hope everyone is having a good week soo far.it is the first day of summer.the way the heat and humidty has been around here feel's like it has been summer long before now.
we finally got some rain last night seems to have cooled off some we are supposed to be only in the 80's today.will be nice for a change.
lana good to see you on here again.glad you all had a nice father's day.we dont think you could retire.you alawys want to be doing something and we know you would be bored.i know a lady who work's in a little restraunt near where i work and she comes into the store all the time she was retired and she said she was bored and had to come back to work part time.

Happy Monday, Missouri.
We had a good weekend. Went to Silver Dollar City yesterday morning, listened to some really good music and then came home. We have season tickets and need to use them so we don't feel like we totally wasted the money. Found that going early is good - better parking and cooler.
DH got calls for Father's Day from his boys and my daughter. It was basically a quiet, nice weekend, but way too short. Am looking forward to retirement - every Monday - but then I worry about being bored.

Good morning to all.hope everyone had a good weekend and a good father's day.the weekend sure was hot here lot's of humidty.some city's got rain but we did not.we need some more rain.with our grass it does not matter grows like crazy with the rain or not.andy just cut ours again on sat.
went to my dads nursing home and visted with him for father's day.he was taking a nap he does most of the time after lunch but everytime he sees us he get's a big smile on his face.we are glad he still know's us.most of the time he needs a picture to remember someone.the nurses said he is doing good.sometimes he will say a few words then other times he wont.it is all do to his condition.today would have been my mom's and his 52 wedding ann.she would have been 79 on this coming sat and dad turned 79 last month.
susie we are sure glad to hear that your son is feeling better.cong on your wedding ann.time sure does fly by.andy and i will be married 25 years in sept.
i have to get ready for work later on.i work today and tomorrow then i am off for two day's.have to get ready for a cook out at a friends house from church on friday night.

I have spent the last few days taking care of my son, he got pneumonia. The doc was trying to keep him out of the hospital but I had to take him to the ER yesterday for IV antibiotics. They have really helped him. His fever has finally broken. DH had a birthday yesterday, last week was 35 years for us. My how time flies.
I am watching the grass grow here, rain and sun and it goes crazy.
Missed you all at the meeting wish I could have been there.
