While I do not envy anyone moving I know its exciting when its by choice. No nothing is going on here. I lead a boring life.
I can relate to losing control over my eating and the weight creep is getting its teeth in me. I am not over my goal weight but its getting close. DH even commented on my stomach. Enough already I know I have to get a grip now or I will lose control.
My oldest turned 28 today,Lord where did the time go.

Thanks Andy for getting this on here. Was really good to talk to you both last night . and we all know that God is a big miracle worker but if it isnt in his plan to heal Paul then we will pray that he not be in pain. Cancer is such a big nasty illness  but as you say God is good all the time. ....

Susan got to talk to Bec for a fews mins last night.  She said that the doctors really don't give Paul any hope.  They took Paul to Barnes Jewish and they did some tests and said that Pauls stomach is just full of hundreds of tumors, I forget the exact name of the cancer but it's a type that right now is no cure for.  The doctors don't give him much time at all, Bec said maybe a month or so, that Paul is in alot of pain.  Paul had a second chemo treatment and right now is very sick, he's at home which is good but is in bed most of the time.  If Paul is able Bec is taking him to a clinic today to see what they have to say, if they can't do anything then they will most likely call in hospice just to make Paul comfortable.  I know though that God is a miracle working God, He has the cure for the cancer Paul has and is well able to heal Paul, so lets all pray and send positive thoughts and prayers to Paul and Bec and their family.

Keep Praying!!!

Bless ya'll,
Andy

hello to all,
First of all, Jan, I dont envy you all the work of selling.  Is house up on market?  Just heard on news this am that housing is falling again, Yikes.  Have a safe trip and am so glad you are both happy about the move.
Lana, thanks for advice on eating.  I have been really lucky but also a lttle careless since surgery 5 years ago.  even thou I have only gained 3 pounds its something new that I just cant tolerate meat much except hamburger.  and my shakes are  a plus for me in the morning.
Craig, you are a miracle and a testamony for Dr.H.  I remember the day of surgery when I came to see you, and wow!!! what a change you have made.  God is good!!!!
Not much new here, hubby was very sick with sore throat and cold but on the mend again.  Just not able to do much or get around.
Brenda and paul continue to be in my prayers.  Jan, any news on bec?

Hi All,
I know that no one but us Oldsters post on here much. I have an account on Facebook but I don't like to put my business out there for the world to see. I know that's old fashioned but I am old-fashioned!
I am really trying to stay on track with my eating. I have gotten really sloppy about what I eat and even though I've not gained above my limits I know I need to do better. I'm doing an Isopure throughout the morning and a weight control instant oatmeal for breakfast and then trying to do protein first and it seems to be working to keep me from wanting to snack.
We get spoiled in the first months by the rapid loss and want it to continue forever but in fact - IT DOESN'T! Or probably we fail the pouch by pushing it to hold things that we didn't eat at first. And then the malabsorpion revises and we get the full benefit of all those calories.
So - back to basics and back to remembering I'm not naturally a slim person and I will be fine.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Hugs and loveys,
Lana
