Topic: WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY
So what is going on with all of you? not much posting going on here on the board....come on guys we know you have something that you do ....hopefullly you arent just sitting staring at the tv...lol share with us...
yesterday nothing too exciting ...went to a large shoe warehouse type thing and Joe and I got Teva sandels...man are they comfortable....have straps around the ankle and two across the toes and all of them are adjustable so they always fit well ...love them...and i can buy them online in south America with no shipping cost. great. since we will be wearing them alot.
went out to breakfast yesterday mornning at this resturant called the HAPPY ROOSTER lol cute place and really good food. i had one egg and one piece of toast and couldnt finish that.
feel like my sinuses are so dried up that i can barely breath, a little sniffing but mostly just dry ....bought some salaine soluting yesterday and that seems to help some. I guess it is just way too dry here for me. ...at least my bones dont hurt most of the time. they didnt hurt at all in Ecuador , i guess because of the alltitude. dont know but they didnt , only my shoulder once in a while and i dont think that is like arthritis. it is something else entirely.
.
well i think im getting sleepy again now lol so will get another few minutes of sleep

Yes, Lana! It was Nectar! Thank you! I didn't like the lemonade one, but remembered trying it. I will have to try that again to get me started on getting all my protein. Thanks for the invite to the support meeting. I will have to see if I can fit it into my schedule.

Susan,
We miss you and Andy but are so proud of you and happy for your continued good health. Don't be a stranger and do pray for Brenda - almost 6 weeks in the hospital now.
Hugs and love,
Lana

Brandy,
I remember you and you look amazing. I am sorry you have had to go through a rough patch but sounds like you are getting back in the right frame of mind. Try to take care of yourself - your kiddies need you more now than ever.
Was the protein Nectar? Seems like they have a lemonade one. I like those because you can mix most of them with water instead of milk. I'm not a milk person.
Keep in touch. Our next support group meeting is on Friday, April 8, at the Library Center on South Campbell in Springfield at 6:30. I know Clinton is quite a drive - I go up there on my way to St. Joseph to see my DD and DGS - but we would love to have you.
It is a good road now all the way.
Hugs,
Lana

Great to hear from you and that all is well. Even if you are in OK you are still part of our group.

I will invite you to a support group, its a good way to stay accountable. We have one in Waynesville and there is one in Springfield. It is about the same distance both ways from Clinton I think. Waynesville is the third Sat @9 in the Waynesville library and Springfield is always posted on here. I can't seem to remember it right now but its on Friday nights. I know when I don't go I start to slip so it really helps me.

Thanks for the warm welcome back, Jan.
I'm trying to remember the name of a protein mix that I used to use, but can't. I remember one of the flavors was lemonade. Any ideas?

Topic: RE: WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY
Good Morning, Mama Jan & MO Peeps:
It's been a busy morning. Made a quick run to Wally World then came back home. I braised about 6 lbs of country style pork ribs then put them in my crockpot with a little thinly sliced onions then covered them with KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce. Also made baked beans. Our church has a group of college kids from Mississippi and we're having a pot luck dinner tonight. I did a Razzle Dazzle Berry Pie which I will bake an hour or so before we leave. Our church has had a week long outreach in our community. Sadly, I've not been involved as much as I usually am. Trying to get ready for my test at school and been watching the Grandson a couple days too. Right now he's watching a movie. I thought it was safer he do that while I've been cooking. Hopefully, the wind will die down and we can go for a bike ride this afternoon. He and I both really enjoy doing that together. We usually end up at the local park where he's able to play.
Mama Jan, how do you make your fish tacos? I LOVE them too but have never made them at home. The coleslaw with the jalapenios sounds really good! Never seen it here with the peppers in it. Hmmmm.
Paul went home yesterday. I haven't talked to Bec in a couple days but did hear that they finally got his pain under control and he was able to go home. Please continue to pray for their family.
Well, I have one more pan to finish cleaning - should be cooled down enough so I can wa**** Then gotta spend time with the grandson. :)
Hope all of you have a GREAT day!
Debbie D.
