OT - Got me a new toy!!

No, not THAT kind!    After losing 200+ pounds, I found my Yamaha Venture motorcycle was just too big and heavy for me to ride and maneuver comfortably and safely ( it weighed over 900 lbs.!).  So, I went "window shopping" for a new motorcycle that would do everything we needed and that I could still drive safely and comfortbably. I found and fell in love with a 2008 Harley 105th Anniversary Edition Ultra Classic. They only made 7000 of them and it is #2477 of the 7000.  It's copper pearl and black color scheme and has all the bells and whistles - and is now sitting in my garage!!

I have been thinking about getting one too. Never driven one - but it sure looks like fun! Maybe a little 750 (if they still make those!)

Thanks, Big Daddy.   Harley makes an 880 Sportster. Also, Kawasaki makes a nice 900 cruiser, and Yamaha has a 650 V Star - both are nice bikes and very reliable.

I am leaving tonight to pick up a used Victory V92SC. very low miles and in good shape and cheap enough to make a drive to Cary NC from Cleveland OH.

Keep it shiney side up and put lots of miles on that BEATIFUL machine.
