We are currently coordinating a Bariatric WLS Meet and Greet event. What a great way to meet, greet and celebrate with other WLS patients. Share your stories, some laughs and form new relationships.
WHEN: April 30, 2011 TIME: 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

*Little by Little* Weight loss support group meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month...Time is 6:00 - 7:00, give or take...Sometimes we run over just a little...We have a great group of caring people...If you are interested in coming, message me and I will give you directions...
Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only TRUE FRIENDS

You might want to consider switchiing to a doc that practices in a Bariatric Center of Excellence, as one of the requirements is having a support group for patients.
Aftercare is strongly emphasized at those centers as well.

Good luck in your approval. Get in a support group as soon as possible. I wish I had started in one pre op. It would have really helped me to know what to expect in those first months.
