Topic: 5 for Wednesday
We used to do this on the Michigan board so I thought I'd bring it here now too.
Here's five questions to see what others think.
1. What is one food you know will set well on your pouch? refried beans
2. How much protein do you eat in a day? 50-60 grams
3. You're at the mall and need to eat... what will it be? chicken salad from chick-fil-a
4. Name one thing that is now gone out of your life and you don't miss it at all. I can't believe I am saying this, but Diet Dr. Pepper and any diet coke. WOW.
5. What was your most frustrating moment this past week? Was at a funeral dinner and there was not much I could eat at all, and actually was hungry, or possibly just upset, I really wanted a piece of pie, but I didn't of course.

1. I know cheese sits well with my pouch.
2. I eat probably only 30-40 g protein a day
3. I'd eat refried beans from Taco Bell, or sandwich meat from Subway
4. I can't believe I don't miss cake!
5. my most frustrating moment was holding on to an extra pound I gained and not losing all week!

I know protein is hard to get in, but so important - my doctor recommends 50-60 grams a day, your early out but I love the South Beach meal replacement bars the peanut butter inside, they have 15 grams in them and I eat them for breakfast every morning it starts my day out great. Good luck on your journey.
