Two new things
John, this is so right-on and inspirational....you are right, I would never being able to lift something as heavy as the weight I lost so far!! And to think we carried all this weight without realizing just how much it really weighs, until it comes off! I am enjoying fitting in all the seats and crossing my legs. You are doing such a great job! - Anna

Thanks to everyone for your great comments and encouragement. Sorry to be so late getting back online... I had to fly today for a training class. Guess What - I fit into the airplane seatbelt! It was the first time in many years that I was able to buckle that sucker around me without either a come-along (this is the OK board - most of you probably understand what that is) or an extension. It was a great feeling! Don't get me wrong, it was a small plane, completely full, and I was still fairly uncomfortable flying (my shoulders are wider than those damn seats) but I did get the seat belt on!
Also - I can't really explain what's going on unless someone is trying to tell me something - when I weighed my checked bag and my carry on backpack together on the scale at the airport they totalled up to 79 pounds! I was hating to drag them both through the airport... sure am glad I didn't have 79 extra pounds of ME to go along with them!
And, last, but certainly NOT least - my scale finally MOVED today!!! Not much, but it said 299, and I'm latching onto that for all it's worth.
I will be away from my scale all week - probably a good thing - so I'm hoping that by the time I get back on it, I will have lost even more and will never have to see 300+ on there again! I'm hoping that I'll be able to get in some walking in the evenings while I'm here. Considering the temperature and humidity that is going on at 10:00 at night, I ought to drop some pounds just walking to class during the day!
All you losers have a great week!
John
