WOW!! WOO! HOO!
I have been really frustrated with my lack of weight loss for almost 2 weeks now. So, this morning I decided to measure. Since late April I have lost 20"!!! I am astounded! So, based on that I decided to dig out a box of too small clothes. They aren't too small anymore!!! I am wearing size 18W pants today! I haven't been able to get in these since 2004! YEAH!!! The only downside is that this is the last size I have anywhere in the house. I guess I will be shopping in the not too distant future!

I live in an old house with tiny closets or I would have more sizes also. I am kind of envious you still have stuff to move into. I hate throwing money at a moving target!
I know the scale will move. I have always been slow loser. I am at the exact weight that all previous diets have stopped working. My body has refused to go lower than this point for 20+ years. It's not going to give up the weight without a huge fight. I may have to call my NUT for advise if it doesn't budge next week.
Thanks for the encouragement!

Just an FYI - WeightWise is looking into doing a clothing exchange (has been since the practice started) but there is no additional storage space at the Healthplex/Hospital to store anything at this point. It is going to have to be done offsite and by the patients through Support Group. We have discussed it, it is just a matter of logistics, not that the surgeon's don't want to do it. Now, when and if a patient decides they would like to manage the clothing exchange, we are just still in the "thinking" process.
I would do it but don't and won't have the time with support groups and trying to build resource information for the outlying support groups. I need to have that done by (my own timeline) September so that we can get these things up and running. BUT...should any WW patient want to do - please do not hesitate to contact me!!
Thanks!!

THE ABILITY TO CONTINUE IN THE PRESENCE OF FEAR.
Well I am not a WW patient but would be glad to volunteer to hep. What OWLO does is what clothes are not taken are donated to a community thrift store. I think thats a good idea..no worrying of storing clothing or having to rent storage.
being healthy has its rewards....take the challenge and just do it
