Product Review-MBT shoes

Ok, it's been a couple of days and I think there may be something to the MBT shoe thing-I'm having less swelling and pain in my ankle, and I feel some soreness my back and back of my legs (I bought it for my ankle/foot but I'll take the other benefits too).

I would not buy them online-at least until you go get fitted and try them out because they are a little weird and the shoe store guy had some good tips.  And honestly, they aren't pretty.  I'm hoping that by wearing them, I'll condition my legs and perhaps be able to wear some cute sandals for short periods.

But, if you don't have rotten feet, I'm not sure it would be worth the price (for me it is, because I hurt all the time).  Now, if my legs start to look like Tina Turners, I'll back off that statement and say it's worth twice the price...LOL.

I'm such a skeptic, it will take a month or so before I can give a complete thumbs up.

I have Earth shoe sneakers.  They are sort of similar.  I can really tell the difference when I walk sinc eyou are walking at an incline with every step.  They really make my back happy.  I usually only wear them when I am having back pain.  I hope you enjoy your MBTs. Denise

Did you get yours from Linda's Birkenstocks? I tried them on but ended up purchasing a pair of Chung Shi from Foot Solutions up by Quail Springs Mall. These shoes are supposed to work in the same manner as MBT's, but, I walk 2 miles 5 days a week in them and don't have Tina Turner looking legs. However, I do believe they help with my posture.

I got mine at Foot Solutions over on 104th.....I tried the Chung Shi's and I liked them too.  If I was going on a trail or some place that I might have to climb, I'd want the Chung Shi's because they don't rock as much.

I have Chung Shis also and I like them. They gave my cardiologist problems though. donna

I ordered my Earth sneakers from Zappos.  The sizing is a little weird.  I always wer a bigger sneaker size than shoe size but the guy on the phone said not to with these.  So, order close to your shoe size and not your sneaker size.  If you wear a 9 you are welcome to try miny on.  Yu can buy really cute Earth sandals at Westies.  And, they are on the buy one get the second for 1/2 off!  There is a location in Norman but it isn't called Westies.  I can't remember the name. I use New Balance shoes for my walking and wouldn't want anything else.  I have kinda of funny feet too! Hey, did you lose a size or so during your weight loss?  I used to wear an 8 1/2W and now I need a straight 8 and in some shoes a 7 1/2.  Wierd! Huggs, Pam

LOVE, LOVE,LOVE, LOVE mine. I paid full price of $200 at Linda's Birkenstock..they are very knowledgeable.  I wore them until they got too big for me. I have a pair I'd offer at a very reasonable price. They were worth it for me because of intense back pain. There's a chiro here who writes scrips for them, but mine didn't. I have white ones and they fit a size 10. They look like new.  Any takers?? Oh, and I can wear size 8 and a half Naturalizers..I'm on my way to 9's though. Most of my 10's are getting too long now..the width is definitely different..

Oh crap-too big for me.....or I would!  Someone with size 10 feet ought to snatch the up-they really are working well for my ankle/foot.
