What CAN you work on Now?

I suffered for a long time from an all or nothing mentality-I was either 100 percent "on program" (whatever program might be) or not. Sound familiar?
If so, next time you get the urge to say I can't or I'll deal with it tomorrow, try to think immediately of one thing you can do RIGHT NOW.
The neat thing about WLS is that it stops the body from taking in too much-but you can use your mind to help that along. Instead of saying "I'll be good tomorrow" tell yourself "I'm done with this NOW".....even if it's 10pm and you are going right to bed. What that will do is set up to wake up thinking "Oh, I started my healthy eating last night...." and feel good about the morning instead of remorseful about the evening.
A day started empowered instead of guilty is usually a better day.
If your ankle hurts from yesterdays walk, get some bands and stretch your arms or go for a swim or sit on the floor and do some stretches.
Look at your life as a series of choices you get to make-and treat yourself to best choices possible.
