Deb, I always appreciate your concise wisdom and humor. You hit the nail on the head several times. I haven't initiated any conversations about WLS ... nor will I. However, I had to giggle because I surely don't know it all and I don't think I'm fully reformed yet ( popcorn incident just yesterday ) and I'm still a fatty. ; ) Maybe next year I could pull off *reformed fatty*!

I'd love to get together and knit & crochet with anyone, anytime. Or do a bookclub. Sounds great! : )

From reading this thread, I guess we all have a friend who is jealous of our WLS and feels abandoned and that we are so lucky to get the easy way out.  We all know that is not true...  You have had some awesome responses and all I can say is DITTO!!!  Get back to that group and if she's uncomfortable....sounds like a personal problem to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, on the popcorn...I have had the "healthy" popcorn a few times and it just tore my stomach up...and my intestines too!  It hurt all the way through!!!  So, I have taken popcorn off my list of foods to enjoy.  I have to say these chocolate mini crisps that Michelle gave me are awesome!  She got them at Weight Wise.  Yummo!!!  But they might be on the list of acceptable foods that I shouldn't buy anyway because they are irresistable!!!
