i want to cry!
I've heard of a lot of people who are not able to eat eggs with VSG. I mostly can, however, when we were in Santa Fe, Denise and I shared an egg that neither of us could eat. We eat took 1 bite and quit. I'm lucky in that I can usually tell if something isn't going to work.
When you do the refried beans, make sure you do the fat free kind. I tried some from Bueno early on and couldn't eat them. I think it was the fat content. However, I can eat them now but try to stay with ff when possible.
I'm so sorry that happened to you! I'm sure that barfing this early out was not in your plans! Cottage cheese usually works well. Just make sure to take your time and find out if your tummy is going to tolerate another bite.
Please keep us posted and hang in there. It will be better later on!

i don't know what the problem was. i ate very slow and chewed til there almost wasn't anything there and then swallowed. i don't think i even ate half an egg. scrambled egg is out of my life for a while at least. i did buy me some ff refried beans that i may try later today. right now i'm scared to eat so its back to the water.
UGH! I hate that feeling! Please remember that when you make scrambled eggs, you aer whisking all sorts of air into them to get them all fluffy, sort of like "egg carbonation" so to speak. Also, if prepared with milk, as someone mentioned, it could be a sign of lactose intolerance. As for my experience, hard boiled, fried, or poached eggs have always sat better in my pouch than scrambled ones.

Kimberly, you could do deviled eggs now. You just can't add any pickles or onion. They want you to stay away from eggs that are hard boiled since they can be dry. If you devil them they won't be dry. It would be a lot like egg salad which you can have right now.
Good luck! There is a steep learning curve with this baby tummy of ours.
