Sorry you had trouble.  I couldn't tolerate eggs until I was at least 6 weeks out.  I mainly ate cottage cheese and refried beans while I was on mushies.  They seemed to be all I could keep down.  Take heed...it WILL get better as time goes on.  Just set them aside for a few days then try them again.  At some point you will be able to handle them.

i tried some refried beans yesterday around lunch time and some tuna for dinner. each time was only about 1 tsp but i kept it down. today i had a string cheese stick and it has stayed down also.

Poached eggs work better for me.  It's usually best to add only one or two new items a day to your menu-especially where protien is concerned.  I'd go for cottage cheese rather than string cheese, or refried beans-they work great.  In addition to being smaller, your system hasn't been processing real food for awhile, so the slower the better.

ooh i don't like cottage cheese. it turns my stomach for some reason to even look at it. how do you poach an egg? i know i am dumb in the cooking dept so bare with me.
