Date Update!

I just thought that you guys would like to know how my date went...ifrst one since surgery. I went to Purcell to one of their paintball fields with Jordan, that's his name. Had an absolute blast. I was out in direct sunlight at noon, and I only got sunburnt on one arm...not quite sure how that happened. After they were all done playing, Jordan and I went to McDonalds, I had to force him to eat in front of me, he was so worried that he was going to offend me. I just laughed lol. I'm not going to go into incredible details, but when we got back to Ada, we literally sat in my living and just talked for almost 5 and a half hours. The only reason we got up was I forgot that I was supposed to cook for him and my friend Jason for doing a few things for me...oops. He was ten kinds of helpful in the kitchen, and here comes the best part...When he went to the bathroom, he actually put the seat back down!!! I was so impressed lol. 20 yr old guy, lives with all guys, doesn't have a sister, yet automatically puts the seat down. I'm so proud, I think I found a good one


O, one more thing...I'm only 8 pounds away from being in onderland!!!!!!

GOOD FOR YOU !!!  I'm sure it has done wonders for your self esteem to have lost your weight and have guys start to ask you out again.  Those eight pounds will be gone before you know it !!  You might have to beat them off with a stick after that !!!  This guy sounds like he's at least considerate.  The toilet seat rule is a must in my home !!  Get ready for the "come home and meet mom" date.  You sound like a keeper, too !!

Forget the Mom approval - he's got to get the RUTH approval!!!  Mini-me and I are TOO much alike to let that go!!! ROFLMAO!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!  I am happy for you.  And, his Momma did a good job raising him.  The toilet seat down is one thing I definitely taught my son!

CONGRATS ON THE DATE AND THE 8 LBS FROM ONEDERLAND!!!  Any guy who will sit on the couch and talk 5.5 hours and wait patiently for dinner and put the seat down....sounds like a keeper to me!!  lol  Good luck!

That's great..somebody trained him right on that putting the seat back down thing. I have my son and DH trained to do that..lotsa work but so worth it!

I'm really happy for you, but remember not to get too attached too early on. Enjoy it and take it slow...sounds like he is a keeper!
