Heather, give Tiffany or Matt a call or send an email to them.. I don't have any Rice Chex on hand to check out the nutritional information. Skim milk has some good protein in it, but I'm not sure that Rice Chex qualifies as whole grain. I'm just clueless.

WeightWise patients are not allowed cereal.  But your doctor may have different requirements so I'd call and ask!

Ditto, Kim. People on the main forum are always talking about being hooked on Kashi Go-Lean for breakfast.

Protein bars, protein drinks or deli meats and cheese for me. Dang, now I'm craving a lunchable..

I am further out than you, but I don't think I even tried cereal until after 6 mos. Since then, I go for the whole grains with fruit and nuts. It is a tasty treat.

Hello Heather,

I have tried cereal three different times, and felt awful afterwards, guess it swells in our tummy.  But I bet you could try a couple bites, wait a little bit and see how it feels.  Great job by the way.
