Hi Salem,
I live in Cleo Springs but work in Waukomis. So I am through Enid everyday. I had VSG 3 weeks ago and it was really a breeze. Not sure if I'm just lucky or what. Just felt like I had done about 1000 sit ups for 2-3 days. Only hurt when I got up or set down but once I got there I was fine. Liquids are not hard on your tummy, just your head. I lost 25 pounds in 2 weeks, well worth the liquid diet!! Any way I can help just let me know. Best of luck!!

My parent lived in Waukomis and my mom grew up there. All of us kids graduated there too. I have my mind set on this so overcoming things may not be to difficult. My only thing to voercome, at the moment, is playing this waiting game to get it done. I just keep telling myself that think of what the end result will be.
Hi, I am from Garber, it is approx 14 miles east of enid been in this part of ok all my life, I was born in Enid. I had the VSG on Monday, My tummy is not as sore as it was yesterday so im hoping it will get better day by day, I am having some problems with gas coming up into my chest, it does get pretty uncomfortable, but nothing I cant handle. My insurance wouldn't pay for any WL surgery because my husbands company about 2 yrs ago chose to drop anything to do with obesity. Seems funny that they will pay for hip replacements knee replacements, anything to do with diabetes, heart disease and the list goes on, do they not realize that by having WL surgery that alot of these kinds of problems people are having could possibly go away, Well I could rant on and on about this along time but I won't. Hope you get the kind of answer you are looking for.
I was self-pay thanks to Cigna's denial, so the only diet I had to do was lose 30 pounds per Dr. Walton's orders. I had my lap RNY on Oct. 18, 2007 and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I wish my MIL and DH would/could have the surgery. It's changed my health and my life. Today, I ran all over trying to get DS to his appointed classes with parking permit, schedule, lunch and career tech bus. Before, that trek would've worn me out 5 mins. into it...I didn't even break a sweat or huff and puff. Amazing.
