They've canceled school again tomorrow!!! =(

I am NOT a happy camper!  I want to go to work tomorrow!  Wah!  I was out on the roads all day today.  I can't figure out why classes are cancelled again!  OK, just had to whine!

i have not figured out why schools are cancelled at a drop of a hat. back when I was going to get school cancelled was next to impossible..Now days if the weather threatens anything SCHOOL is cancelled..I also do not understand why are there so many teacher work days..I thought everyday they worked was a teacher work day....

I think it probably has a lot to do with the fact that nothing has been cancelled up to now and they have extra days to play with.  Of course, some of the MWC routes are in pretty rural areas that might be difficult to navigate still.

I'm going out tomorrow before I lose my mind.  I DO love a single snow day, two is doable.  Three, not so much.  But at least this time I was in my own house with my own annoying bird. 

I can't believe they're cancelling another day.  Although coming home tonight around 7PM, there was definitely some blac****!

I can't seem to whip up any sympathy for you - sorry!  (ps - I can say this to her - she's my sister!)

You guys have not been trapped 3 days going on 4 in a house with no one but 2 kids, and furbabies for comaonay and seeing no new walls. I am ready for the loony bend. Or at least a SUPER SIZED SRONG DRINK/ Since I dont see neither in my future I will just whine and whine!

The first day was novel, the second I paid bills and worked on taxes, if I got to be off tomorrow I was going to do a spa day.  So, soak your feet, put lotion on your hands with the heating pad and put a face mask on and drink some special tea while taking a long soak in the tub!  You'll really be ready for the monsters the next day.

Sorry you can not go back to work how about you come to work with me? deal? but seriously the highways are ok but the city streets are HORRIBLE, it took me 10 mins to get home from the exit to my house keep in mind it is maybe a 4 min walk. So I think it is a better to be safe than sorry right now. but seriously if you want you can come to work with me and I take the spa day Deal?..lol enjoy it think of it this way the parents are nutts.

Claremore schools are out again on Thursday as well. We went and did some errands today. the main roads were fine, but the side streets were terrible. I see why they closed. I would hate to see those buses navigate the rural areas. Hopefully you will get to work on Friday. Tracy ( my son) is having a blast being out of school. He stayed in his jammies all day today. I enjoyed getting to sleep in too. It was a nice break. It doesn't bother me to be cooped up with the kiddos. We play games and watch cartoons. Could be a lot worse. We could've lost power.  Chin up.

We were told that the reason they are closed is because they have not been able to clear the driveways or parking areas in the schools. the roads get cleared first and then by the time they get to the school areas it is too thick and hard to clear it. Early this morning they announced that our schools (Moore) would be open with a 3 hour delay and 10 minutes later they closed them again.
I just got back from Denver and yesterday it was -3 degrees and snow on the ground when I left for work there at 7:30 AM. NOTHING stopped and by 5 PM it was 24 degrees and the roads were perfectly clear and dry. Truly amazing -- but still COLD!

I don't know how bad it is in ok but in mo it is still really bad. i live in town and the roads are still completly covered in snow and ice. A local school had 3 bus slide off the raod. thank god no kids got heart. Our school district is all back roads and the stay bad for several days after the main raods are clear. My kids will be out friday to
