Ok, I have tried a couple of protein drinks and I'm just not being able to get past that taste.  Do you guys have a particular one that you're using that doesn't have that nasty taste???

Hey Jen, I can't deal with the taste of them either. The only thing I found that works for me is some protein hot chocolate that I buy through Nashua Nutrition.  It is the classic cocoa one.  I'm too techno challenged to post a link! LOL!

Jen,

Have you tried the Designer Whey Chocolate yet?  Not too bad.  I drink one first thing every morning to get my day started.  You might want to give that brand a try.  It also comes in Vanilla and Strawberry flavors.  Also, ok, but I prefer the chocolate.

Thanks!  I'll have to try them.  I have been really worried about that because I just haven't been able to handle that protein aftertaste.

I like the Gold Standard Tropical Punch. I mix it up with 8oz of my sugar free fruit punch drink and 1/4 banana and ice...yummm

Champion Whey Chocolate isn't bad...to me.  My biggest issues with the protein is that if I mix them by hand I can't get them mixed enough or if I make it in the blender I get  a ton of foam.  I finally started mixing a double or triple batch in the blender then transferring it to another container and putting it in the fridge so it's good and cold and the foam disappears.  It also makes it more convenient to just pour some into a juice glass (about 1 cup serving) and drink that.
