Was at the hospital this morning at 7:30 for my PAATS...Optifast in two days. Had a great weekend with friends over to help me empty the freezer - had a great roast of pork and just a little wine. Tuesday evening (night before optifast) will be a photo session for the before pics, a set of measurements, a bbq steak topped with blue cheese and a toast to my new life. Can't wait!!!

Congrats!! for you on your new journey... I have my surgeon date for July 15th...very excited hopefully in the home stretch....good luck with the Optifast and enjoy your celabatory steak

Your surgery is two days before me!! I start Optifast Friday. Like I said earlier I think the reality will set in Friday when I start Optifast. Enjoy that steak
