HELLO

May seem like a very silly question.  But does the stomach ever heal 100% where it can never leak after a certain heaing time?  OR are you at risk for life of leakage??

Thank you for reading  (and responding)

I'm with Robin on this. It would heal completely ,just like when you get a cut in your skin and its stitched up, that's no more prone to "opening up" unexpectedly than any other wound.

The only reason why I question if it does. Is because it is always moist?  Hmm. I guess a surgeon question?  Added to my list..lol

that's not an issue, if that were true, then no surgery (gall bladder, kidney transplant, heart surgery) wouldnt heal completely either.

It would heal like any other wound.  If it did not simply because it was always moist then any incision would not heal because on the inside of all of us we are all always moist

It will heal over 100% just like my episiotomy healed over a 100% and trust me that spot is moist all the time.

Just making a point.  LOL  I thought that would never heal right but it did and now 22 years later you'd never know I had been slit from one end to the other.
