How long is the surgery??

Does anyone know how long you are in the OR for?? How long does surgery take??

Mine was a bit more than 1 hour.

For which procedure? My DS was 5 hours and 45 minutes. RNY can be anywhere from 1-3 hours and a sleeve is usually done in an hour and a half. Of course they can all run longer if you have any complications or anything unexpected or if the doc has to move through scar tissue or repair a hernia, etc. So it's quite variable.

Mine was 4 hours. I had an RNY but had some issues with a very large liver so it took longer.

I went in the OR at 1130, and was in my room from recovery at 530. I was a bit longer because I had trouble in recovery with my oxygen levels and blood preassure...

How long is the surgery??
