Plastic Surgery in the US?

My sister went to have plastics done in the states and I was with her, you have to make sure they are Board certified not just certified that was a big deal, she ended up having the surgery done in Canada in Sarnia Ontario b/c the price was the only like $1,000 cheaper but she only had her stomach done. Star in Michigan is where she was going to go they always run a promo buy 1 get 1 free lol in the end tho it wasn’t much cheaper. But they were very good and board certified Hope that helps

There are a couple of Plastic Surgeons who work with patients through the Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti, Michigan. They are familiar with Bariatric patients. Not sure they are any cheaper.
I've heard some real horror stories about Bluewater in Sarnia.
Our skin is very different and this is definitely not like a "Mommy Makeover".

 Just re-reading the post.   Did you make sure you saw pics of his work?  I saw them at a ottawa meeting a few years ago.. gotta say they were scary...  Please see pics before proceeding, and not saying this so you'll go to Mexico, but anyone should be asking for several pics.   As said in a post above.  Our skin is not like the mommy makeover kind.   It's been stretched to the limits, and surgeons sometimes have to be very creative on what to do with it.    Make sure whomever you see, have more than 4% of their patients being bariatric patients.

So much to think about.
I have seen Dr Jarmuske's pictures...some good, so not so good...but I took that as a by the body type of thing. Some bodies can only be made to look SO good lol.
I'm starting to consider and look at other options just so that I see what's really out there.
Mexico sounds great and so happy that people have had such a great experience, it just makes me nervous to go that far away, plus I'm not sure I have anyone who'd be able to go that far with me.

I was concerned that the price different in the US vs Canada wouldnt be much different, just was a thought. I might still reach out to Dr Grabers office to see if they work with someone to link their patients with.

I'm just at the stage where I want this to be over with. Soooo happy with myresults, it's been nearly 4yrs since my surgery and 3yrs of being at goal weight. Now I just want to finish the last step!
