Gall Bladder or Ulcer..uh oh!

So I've been having this pain lately (the past week it started), right in my chest (above the tummy). It makes me nausious and is pretty sharp, and radiates towards my back.
It comes and goes, mostly after I eat. And eating makes me feel ill now :( I follow orders on my diet very strictly, and still my 'normal' foods suddenly turn my pouch. I hope it's not an ulcer, but I have been having problems with stress too. I'm more afraid of an ulcer than gall bladder.
I have a doctor's appointment on Thurs, but from family members who had gall bladder problems, this is what it sounds like.
I just started a new job too...I doubt they'll keep me around if I need recovery (it's physically demanding), unless I beg for a customer-facing position D:
I always thought they used to take out the gall bladder with RNY, but I've been through surgery once...I know I can make it through again.
Ugh wish me luck...no matter what it is. I'll keep you posted.

Have you been taking a PPI (Prevacid or something similar) to prevent ulcers post-op?
I had OHIP approved Duodenal Switch surgery with Dr. Dennis Hong at St. Joseph's Hamilton on March 7th, 2012. Want more information on the DS in Ontario? Send me a private message!
