Thx for all of your support. I was at the walk in clinic and when I told the dr I had cauda equina syndrome his eyes lit up " oh really? He's sys. That's extremely rare. Your the 2 nd I've seen in my career.
He wanted to hear my story. He sat there, mouth open in awe. He sys wow they dropped the ball big time. He kept saying I can't believe you lasted 20 days.
Its one of the only emergent back surgeries. Its neurological. Its considered a spinal cord injury! It is to be operated ideally within 48hours of onset (20 days for me) nerve damage starts start become permanent after that. So all the numness, all the bowel and bladder issues I now have could be gone up to two years or permanent. I am so tempted to go back to the hospital and confront the dr. Face to face..... Thanks for maybe ruining my life!

omg....you should contact the patient advocate at those hospitals and relay this horrible treatment.  They need to investigate the those nurses who definitely need some sensitivity training.  I have one herniated disc and when it goes out I can't move.....I can't believe you were even able to crawl!  You are one tough cookie.
