Hi everybody -

I am 19 months post-op, and despite Christmas am maintaining at 135 pounds.

I do feel, however, that I am sliding back into old habits in the evenings, especially in front of the TV - those snacks and sliders (crackers, popcorn) are inching their way back into my diet.

Karen and a bunch of others have done the 5-day pouch test with great results before, so I looked it up - using the SEARCH function on the OH site wasn't the easiest, but here's the link

I intend to try it later this week. Hopefully I won't be starving all the time.

I always suggest Google. I find everything that way - even on OH. lol

I'm planning on doing this later this week as well. I watch (some call  it stalk but that's not very nice lol) what they ate drank etc so I've got a lot of info ready.

Now I felt my pouch tighten up but apparently it's for "decarbing" your body? Either way towards the end of the week I'd be up for it and would like support

I do it to kick carbs to the curb.  There is no such thing as "shrinking your pouch". But it's an effective 5 days. I never go into it hoping to lose weight, just get off the cracker train.

I'm feeling good at how I eat right now....although just before this post, I went back to the fridge for my snack (earlier than usual), and wondered how and if anyone ever starts the 5DPT while pmsing.....i'm STARVING today!!

True enough. There is no need for me to try it right now. I have my groove going. Even with the holidays, I still maintained. I'm happy with the scale (wait? Did I just say that?? LOL)
