seeing Dr. Pereira-Hong on Thursday !!
i am seeing Dr pereira - Hong on Thursday and i am wondering what i can expect from this apt ? What questions will she ask me ? What will go on at the apt ? if i ve meet all the criteria will i move forward ? i am soo afraid something to go wrong and not be approved!
Also does anyone know anything about this surgeon ?
I met with my surgeon last week (different doctor, same hospital) , first off the nurse weighed me.
The doctor basically went over all the options for wls, the risks, and what he thought the benefits were in my particular case. He then did a "mini" physical where he looked at my belly, listened to my heart and asked if i had any questions. He listened to my questions and reassured me throughout the appointment. He then asked if i agreed with his opionon of which surgery was best and got me to sign a consent form. He then walked me back out to the front desk, handed off my file and the ladies there gave me the date & time and optifast. The nurse came around to explain optifast one last time and later in the week the surgeons office called with a date & time for the pre-op appointment at the hospital whi*****ludes nursing and Anesthesiaologist consultation.
Once you are approved, you need to pay for your optifast on this day so be prepared with either cash or credit card (no debit)
