On to the next step !

Met with nutritionist  for the second time today and she has cleared me to the next step.

She said I'll be getting a call (I've heard that one before LMAO) to schedule my pre-op class.

When I asked her about the appointments for Ultrasound, Sleep test, and scope since October, she could not explain as to why the requisitions weren't even in my file. I will put my faith in her word. She said she would get to the bottom of it ASAP.

Regardless I'm still happy I've graduated to the next step.......

Was also wondering, does everyone need to see psychologist, I've read that people see one, yet there has been no mention of it to me. The Behaviorist told me he was moving me right along as there were no issues to discuss.

 

Well, that's good news - glad to hear you've got someone in your corner.

My psych appointment was basically a formality.  Went through a checklist and it took under an hour.  However, other folks on OH have had different experiences and had very in depth psych appointments.  So I don't know how that goes or how they decide how heavy an appointment to lay on you for the psych stuff.

I had a heavier Psych appointment (and follow-up) because of my documented history of anxiety and depression and also, I believe, because I don't have a strong support system. Frankly it was a waste of my time as I have been seeing a CBT every week for over a year prior to my Psych appointments. I was not a happy camper about them wasting my time.

I saw the Nut and Behav on Feb 5.  They passed me to the next stage and said I would get a call to schedule the pre-op c lass.

I asked about why a requisition was not sent for the ultrasound that the NP said I would need to have.  They just said not to worry that it wasn't a big deal and might be scheduled once the NP reviews my file.   I was the same as you - passed with no issues to discuss.
