Did a happy dance

I am a week out of surgery today and I did a happy dance 2 days ago. I stepped on my scale to see OMG under 200 lbs. I have not seen this in over 8 years. I have lost 13 pounds so far and being a light weight in the first place puts me at only 65 more pounds to go till my surgeons goal for me of 130 lbs. I have been doing great and have started eating some pudding and cream soups. I never thought it would taste so gooooooood......... . The only problem I have had was my blood pressure was a little low one day but the doctor just said keep an eye on it. She said it is normal since my body is going through such a big change right now. so that is about it for now. I will give another update in a few days.

IM NOT LOSING WEIGHT.IM GETTING RID OF IT. AND I HAVE NO INTENTION OF FINDING IT AGAIN.

Must have felt great to reach that great milestone. Glad you are tolerating solids. All the best.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Good job!! Doesn't it feel great to finally have some success in this crazy journey?

P.S. Low BP can also be caused by dehydration so also keep an eye on how much fluid you're taking in.

Cheers,

Andrea

My blood pressure is all good now have not had any problems just that one day. I do keep a log on on how much go's in and out of my body I am just under my two liters of water a day witch is more then I drank before my surgery. My surgeon said I can do what ever I want after I get in that two liters. however I still feel drained a little when I do to much in the day so for sure not ready to go to work till I get more food in my body.
