Finally on the move for Plastics
Finally, finally, my referral has gone in for plastics. Originally I had requested Dr. Nan, but a friend had a TT done with Dr. Kreidstein and she recommended him highly. When I contacted the clinic about him, I was told that they were just networking with him to take referrals from Thunder Bay. So my referral went in this afternoon, I already had a phone call from his office this afternoon, and have just now sent in the dreaded bare pictures. He will use these pics for OHIP approval, thus saving me a trip to Toronto so he can take the pics himself. When I asked how long it would be to hear from OHIP, I was told usually 4-6 weeks, but that approvals had been coming back faster than that lately! So, now I wait again. Once I am approved (no negative thoughts here), I will travel to Toronto to see him and go from there. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!
Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

That was my question also. Does he get OHIP approval for a tummy tuck? ..... or just a panni. Also, do you know how much a tummy tuck costs?
