Ottawa Surgery date for Julie? Yes please!
For all you Ottawa folks waiting for "the call", we'll it will happen. Lana called today and with my request, got booked for the 11th of August. Start optifast on the 21st of July. I know I'm pretty quiet here but I visit this forum everyday and I'm so thankfull for all the people who post their questions, their thoughts, and especially offer their help with all of us who are pre-op. You guys are so patient with us. So thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us. Have a good evening everybody!

Fantastic! I had Dr. Yelle and he was exceptionally skilled. It's a long, hard road in Ottawa, but you WILL get there. Don't despair.
Congrats on getting your date and I'm sure so many here are thankful that you shared this information with them; folks are on pins and needles waiting for "the call" themselves, I know!
FYI, I was at OWMC on Wednesday this week, and there is a notice in the lobby stating that there is currently a shortage of chocolate Optifast. They have indicated that to make the chocolate, simply add 1 tsp of cocoa to the vanilla Opti. Just a heads up for when you pick up your prescription.
