I'm well below goal....who woulda thunk it??
Hi folks...I'm 8 months out now with a loss of 112 lbs. ...that's 16 lbs below "my" and the center's goal weight. My daughters and granddaughter tell me not to lose any more and I'm very satisfied with how I look..lol...after all I'm 65 and have never been under 200 lbs since I was 16 yrs old. So this feels healthy for me....just want to encourage any older people out there...if I can do this so can you!!!!! Can ya tell that I'm feeling successful...LOL?
Orientation - Feb. 19 & 20/13 - NP,Nut, Psych, - Mar. 14/13 - Sleep Study - Mar. 24/13 - OTN with Dr. Sullivan - June 28/13 On my way!!! Preop Sept 25/13 - SURGERY OCTOBER 22/13!!!!!!!!
It's not how you start this life...it's how well you finish it...& I plan to finish it with gusto!!!!
That is so awesome!!! I myself, am 7 weeks post-op and have so far since surgery date, lost 38lbs, it feels fantastic. I can't wait until i'm at the 8 month point! mostly...cause I'll be able to eat meat other than chicken lol (no red meat for 6 months...ugh). Congratulations on your new wardrobe as well!
