Protein powder?

Hey guys, I've been having a hard time finding a protein powder that I like. Recently I came across one that I like but I'm not sure if it's ok to have. body fortress whey protein 50g. My number 1 problem is with the amount of carbs per serving. The dietitian said that for 30g of powder you should have 5g or less of carbs. On the label for this protein powder it says for 42g of powder there is 8g of carbs. Is this ok or should I keep looking. It has taken me forever to find something that I like. I have an appointment with the dietitian next month so I will ask her but I just wanted some feedback from you guys. Thanks

There are so many choices out there and everyone has their owns preferences. I would recommend a visit to a Popeyes location as they have free tastings of what they sell. I found many were too sweet for my liking or they had a funky smell to them. Good luck!

I second the recommendation to hit up Popeye's. They are usually really good about giving out samples.

We like the Bio-X stuff from Popeye's. Great selection. Meets the standards of the dietitian. Tastes fantastic. I do a shake every morning for breakfast and it's usually a Bio-X or an AllMax brand that I use. They're both great.

I "third" Popeye's. I actually just went in there on  Saturday. The guy was SUPER helpful and he seemed to know what he was talking about! I tasted several and chose "Isoflex" vanilla flavour. It also came in chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, strawberry and banana. It has 115 cal, 0 fat, 1 carb, 0 sugar and 27 g protein. He also told me to pay attention to the scoop size. For this one, each scoop is 30 grams. 27 of those grams are protein. That only leaves 3 grams for "other stuff." It was $39.99 for a 4lb tub. Hope this helps :)
