Day 7 of Opti and i am having a really hard time.

I am truly grateful that St. Joes let you eat some Vegetables and  Broth.  If it was not for the Cabbage i think i would have given up.

Im not ever hungry, I struggle to get all the shakes in, but i just feel like crap.... people have posted that after a few days they feel normal again.  well i dont.  I feel like a dead hamster stuffed up another hamsters butt.   I really would love a coffee.  i know that is almost over... but goodness me... this is bad.

on the Plus side.

I have lost 12 Lbs in  6 days of opti.

I have stopped my diamicron

cut my Victoza in Half.

So... that is awesome.   The Metformin has not changed.. but that's minor it will happen

So what have i learned.

1: I can do it.  Suck it up sally and git'er done.

2: If you drink 6-7 vanilla opti's in a row then, when you are about to crack have a chocolate, its the best thing ever... and you can go on for a few more days.

3: Chug the opti.  Dont mix it with coffee... put your 300 ml of water.. shake it up, plug your nose and giver.  its done.. and you can move one...

4: Pre-Packaged Coleslaw and FF Ranch are a God send.   Chewing something crunchy helps with the Mind Games

5: Home made chicken Stock is wonderful and makes the soul feel better

6:  I am looking forward to week 3 so i can have some Frenken tuna.  Thats right Tuna.  I am looking forward to having Tuna....SIGH....

7: OCt 31st seems so far away.. till you start opti... then October 31 is forever away...

Good look everybody...

Good luck to YOU! Despite feeling like a dead hamster stuffed up another hamster's butt, it sounds like you've got things really under control. Hang in there!

I think what Robyn may mean is eating the dressing while on the opti. I too was allowed green veggies and broth. Peppers celery cucumbers and broth. No other calorie intake.
