Liver Enzymes

My family doctor just called me, she had ordered a bunch of bloodwork for a baseline.  I had the labs done on Tuesday when I was 4 days post op, had surgery the previous Friday.  Apparently my liver enzymes are very high.  I am going to have them retested tomorrow.  

Was wondering if anyone else had their liver enzymes spike high shortly after surgery?  She said if they are still high tomorrow, she will call Dr. Glazer.  I am wondering if it is just the shock of surgery, and is a transient thing.

I had bloodwork done at five days post op that showed mine high as well.  Apparently there can be a spike in them after surgery that's somewhat normal but they have to monitor anyway to ensure it goes down properly. I wouldn't worry about it too much yet.

Unfortunately not.  But we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Two days at local hospital.  Raised a stink and got transferred back to Humber yesterday.  I would really like to go home now.  My butt has had way too much attention!!! Lol
