Psychometry appointment

I went to the nutrition class today and got the next two appointments. One is a nutritionist appt and the other is a psychometry appointment. Is there a difference between a psychologist and psychometry appointment? The only reason I ask is because another lady in my class has a psychologist appointment instead so we were wondering the difference :) other than that I'm super excited!! 

I may be wrong, but I believe a psychometrist is someone who administers and scores psychological tests, while a psychologist is more of a "talk therapist."  Perhaps your doctor wants you to have a specific psychological test done?

I looked on the website and it said psychologist or psychometry appointment but both had the same description...phew :)
