Fish Oil?

One week to go until surgery! Thank the gods because this opti is the worst! Anyway....

I'm getting all my vitamins and supplements ready and had a question on fish oil. I've heard that it will help with skin and hair  - does anyone have any experience taking this? Any other recommendations besides daily vitamin, calcium&D and b12? 

I'm getting the b 12 shot once a month at the dr
