please say a prayer for us

This morning they called my husband into an office where he works and told him he is being SEVERED from his job (effective immediately).  Yes, just like that... out of the blue... he lost his job.  He has worked there for just about 12 years.

SHannon - so sorry to hear that!! Here's to hoping that you can get by on your salary and he can find something else quickly!! What line of work is he in?

That's just terrible.  I will have fingers crossed and prayers going out that a new and better job comes his way.  Stay strong and try to not let this difficult time derail all your hard work. Take care of yourself!  We are here for you..

Wow...what a horrible way to start off the week.  I know the feeling all to well with the trouble my husband has had of late.

I learned the hard way the best places to look for a job is on career builder.com... but if I can get a job right now anyone can is the way I see it...

what type of work is he in and where do you guys live... that way if I see or hear anything i can let ya know...

Well that sucks big time - so sorry to hear it, and the way it was done. I don't understand some of these companies that show absolutely no compassion, especially toward long term employees.

Take a deep breath, step back and hold on to each other - will be sending lots of prayers your way that something else will work out, and soon.
