Sticking to the basics - Monday
Good Morning!
Here is my rough plan for the day
B: egg sandwich on english muffin (so far only 1/4 of it is fitting)
S: fage and peaches
L: shrimp and broccoli alfredo
S: cheese and crackers
D: not sure my Grandmother is stopping over - maybe we'll get takeout
S: orange dreamsicle pie!! (see sunday's sticking to the basics post for recipe)

Ok...so I've come up with a game plan for today and I'm pretty much happy with it. No protein in breakfast..but oh well.
B: Cherries
S: String cheese
L: left over chicken
S: Edamame (I now buy them in the shells...boil them for 5 mins in salted water...drain...sprinkle with salt...keep them in the fridge...and eat them out of the shells cold - kind of like a salty chip only protein filled)
D: Burger
S: Creamscile pie...thank you Liz! I can't WAIT for my snack tonight!
E: Rollerblading (wish me luck, I'll give someone a call when I'm in the ER)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Here is my plan for the day...sorry so late...computer was acting funny all morning.
B - Decaf w/ F. Vanilla Cream
S - 1% cottage cheese w/ Breyers light probiotic yogurt and slivered almonds
L - Small salad w/ colby/jack, Tsp of cottage cheese and Purdu all white meat chix nuggets (5)
S - Cheese stick
D - Dont know yet?
Will ride my bike for about 3 or 4 miles tonight.
