Home from PAT's

Hi all -
Hope everyone is having a great day.

Had my PAT's this morning. I passed ! 

Just a little snag of high blood pressure, which the Dr. decided I should take a lose dose BP med and all should be well. They were ok with my C-pap hours - I just need to get past the 200 hours by surgery.   I gained 1 pound since my consult on March 6.  They didn't seem to concerned about that. They still want those 7 pounds off prior to surgery.

So, the countdown begins !

Congrats!  Isn't that a great feeling?  I'm so glad to hear your PATs went well.  Your surgery date will be here soon!

Welcome back from your long day!  Glad it all went well.  And heck - the BP is just another reason for the surgery.  I'm sure it will be within normal range shortly after surgery!

Hey Lisa,

I'm glad your PATs went well!!!  You're almost there!!!!   How long did your PATs take?  I have mine on Wed and was wondering how long it will take.

That's a major hurdle cleared. Congrats! Before you know it, you'll be there.

My appt. was at 8:00am and the PAT's took about 3.5 hours.  It was cut short a bit since I didn't have the need to taste test protein drink samples.  I had gone to my friends PAT's with her and had tried a bunch of them.  I also did not need a gallbladder ultrasound, since I had mine out last year.
