***Wednesday Roll Call***

Sorry I don't have any cute rhyming words for todays roll call!

I'm at work....where I am 'stuck' in one of the sections that is being closed down for the night.  I will be here until I 'get rid' of my two last patients.  The problem being is that this section is being closed down due to maintenance/waxing of the floors whi*****ludes a lot of big loud noisy machines and obnoxious smells.  They started that about 30 mins ago....hopefully I will have places for my two patients to go soon (one is waiting for a bed upstairs, one is waiting for results of her ultrasounds so we know what to do with her)

Then I'm not sure what they will do with me.....They may send someone home....and after the putting up w/ the noise and smell i'm hoping it's me....

Once i get home (be it 3am or 7am) I will be doing fun things like litter boxes...and want to make up some turkey salad out of some really good turkey my dad gave us (he smoked it in his smoker...) to bring for lunches the next couple of nights at work.

If i get out at 7am i will stop at the pharmacy (located here in the hospital) to pick up some prescriptions for Brian from the dentist.  Nothing he needs right this moment.  So if I do leave early (the pharmacy doesn't open till 7am),  it doesn't matter, I'll just pick it up tomorrow night.

Well, that's about it.  Of course it's been about 20 mins since I started this so we'll see once i hit submit if it had been started already...lol

I'm at work too.  Believe me, Pam, I feel your pain with the floor situation.  I hate when they do the floors at my hospital.  You're right about the smell.  And the blower that they use to dry the floor is loud and COLD! 

Wednesday has me heading home and going to bed, so that I can come back for another fun filled night at work.  Looking forward to the weekend though, which consists of a trip to the Pocono's and Sesame Place!

I'll be back for another fun filled night tonight as well!

i have Sat/Sun off (well...ya know....once i get home at 7am in the morning i have off....lol) so I'm looking forward to it.

I am here too not working just can't sleep.  I have a boxers fracture and my company doc won't let me work.  I have been off 3 weeks and still have till the 1st of sept.  I am going nuts.  my sleep schedule is so off.  I should be getting up for work in about an hour!  Well i am going to try to go to sleep.

i feel for ya nikki - that was me last night - except it worked out to my advantage cause i got to go to bed at about 6am and stay in bed all day and put myself 'back on' my night schedule :)

Good Morning Pam and Peeps,
I am also doing the insomnia thing.  I have no good excuses, like fractures, just too much on my mind and no healthy outlet.  I had group on Tuesday night, so that may be doing it for me.  I am hoping to be done my treatment group after Labor Day.  We shall see.

Wednesday has me heading to my AA meeting.  I also have some errands to run that did not get completed on Tuesday.  Then, an appointment with my psychiatrist.  I need to discuss this insomnia among other things.  Then, more cleaning in this apartment.  I got my kitchen blitzed yesterday, now for the rest of the joint.  I also plan to visit another complex, as I am hoping to move to a cheaper apartment when my lease is up in December.  I love my place, but not the rent.  It looks like I can get a cheaper place that is almost as nice, PLUS, get a place with a fitness center, which my complex lacks.  One complex is right across the street from a nice park where I could walk the mutt, and it also has a doggy park.

Wednesday evening, I will be attending a continuing ed program for my social work license.  It is on human trafficking, and it is in Warminster.

Busy day.  Need my strength.

Morning Everyone!

I know.. long time - no post by me!  Things are going really well with the weight loss.  I am so busy with work and life it isnt funny.  I will admit I'm a facebook addict and I post there every day...sigh. (Add me if you wanna...heh)

Today I work from 6am - 2:30pm and then I run home and feed the family and lay back down a few hours.  I'll go back to work from midnight till 12:30pm tomorrow.  Believe it or not this is my favorite day of the work week.  I just started my week yesterday and by 12:30pm tomorrow I'll only have 12 hours left to work for the week.

I had a great WOW moment this morning.  When I buy pants for work I always buy my current size and then one size smaller so I know when It's time to get the smaller size by trying them on.

Well my room was dark this morning and I was too tired to dig through the clothes to find my size 12 pants.  I grabbed the size 10 and for ****s and giggles I tried them on.  They FIT!  It's hard for me to believe I used to be a 24!

Good Morning Pam & PA Peeps!

Sounds like you had a fun night in the ER last night, those machines must have been annoying as hell and I can only imagine how it was for the patients having to endure it!  Oh well, hope you have a good day!

Today is Wednesday, hopefully, another fun filled day at the office, my days are flying by, work is so busy and it's like I look up and realize it is lunch time, look up and it's time to go home, so no insomnia here, I get home spend time with Dillinger, read a little and fall asleep most nights by 9 p.m.  I am thankful when I read all the many posts about insomnia that I no longer suffer from that, as I am just not a very nice person with too little sleep.  Other than work, nothing much happening in my life, if I have time, I'll make my noontime AA meeting, otherwise that's it.
