****Thursday Roll Call****

Greetings Pennsylvania and Friends,
Another wild week for me.  No working at the hospital till the toe is healed, so I am trying to organize my apartment.  Key word, TRYING.  Organizational skills are not part of my original wiring.

First of all, good luck and blessings to Kathy as she heads to Geisinger this morning for her surgery.  See you on the Losers' Bench, Kathy.  God bless.

Thursday will see me calling my family doctor to report that my fever has not gone away, and my lungs feel worse.  The wheezing is now becoming a tightness.

I also must get to my old credit union to sign some paperwork for my son.  Then, another trip to the Salvation Army.  Cleaning means purging my place of stuff I either don't use, or wonder why I own in the first place.

Finally, I am collecting old, used maps.  Any type, any age.  I teach 7th grade Social Studies and a lot of map skills are used.  If you have any to get rid of, or whatever, let me know.  I will try to hook up with you, or get them from you by hook or by crook.

Have a great day.  Stay cool.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Trish!

Well, I took my nap this morning....and then after the dentist appointment when we came home I ended up falling asleep in the late afternoon.  So, as become my norm on my nights off...I am wide awake at the moment.  I did go to bed at one point, but that was just an exercise in futility.  Right now I'm treating myself to a glass of wine, and cruising the net.  Will probably "stop by" facebook after this post.

Congrats to Kathy on her big day today!  Whoooooo hoooooo!!!!  We'll be keeping her in thoughts and prayers today, that's for SURE!  I think she said she had a friend who will post for her under her name, so I can't wait to read that!

I really have no plans per say today.  A lot of it depends on when I get to sleep.  So I will either go to bed fairly soon, and set an alarm to get up early (like 8ish) and then take a nap around 1 or 2 to go back to work tonight....or I will stay up much later (like go to bed around 7 or 8 like my "normal") and sleep until I get up for work.  If I go to bed fairly soon, I'm hoping to watch some more Battlestar w/ hubby.  He's REALLY gotten me into the series, and it started back in 2004 so I've got QUITE a bit of watching to do, LOL

And of course...all the mundane "activities of daily living" as the medical professionals would call it.  Kitty boxes....putting away dishes...and other domestic glamour!  Normally Bri does most of that stuff (not the kitty boxes) but when I am home, I certainly do try to help out.

Enjoy!

Oh, and Trish, I forgot to mention, I know at one point when Brian and I worked on the ambulances he carried maps for literally every county in New Jersey, some of New York, and a few others.  I'm not sure if he still has them, but I know if he does they are definately out dated, and we don't use them in daily driving anyway.  He's a pack rat, so I'm SURE they are around here somewhere.  I will talk to him about it and if we have them (and I can get him to part with them) I will let you know.  At the very minimum I am planning on being at Barix for the October meeting, maybe even September, so I'm sure we could work something out with getting them to you!

Hi all,

Have you ever liked something so much but there is no way you can achieve it living where you are?  I am finding that out up here in the boonies.  It is hard to find something to replace it oe even do it in an environment where you know it's going no where. I know I'm not giving much detail but there's nothing you can do unless you are from a big city and can offer jobs lol.

Today is another day at the library.  Tonight is the herbal guild meeting.

Oh, I found out that I can be in the fashion show at the NY conference teehee.  What fun!  I'm not telling you any more details lol.  Except, I need to get some of this extra flab shrunk so I gotta get back down to the basement and get back on track and cut down on junk food.  .I wanna look hot! Errrr warm anyway lol.

Good Morning everyone !

Today has me at work til 3:30 and then off to take care of my house sitting duties; kitty litter, trash, feeding the critters, watering the plants, etc.   I really don't mind house sitting once in a while.  It's change of pace for me.  I house sit for my best friend and her house is closer to my work !  That makes it all good.  And I think I'll even have an opportunity to use their pool, since I am OFF from both jobs Friday, Sautrday and Sunday !!!!   Woo Hoo !

Hope everyone has a super day !

Still busy busy busy.. I think I signed up for too much.  But, I work best when I have stuff to do.

Work 7-3:30 and we are starting to get the beginnings of the busy open enrollment season, so I will have to start paying more attention to work and less to this other computer on my desk.

After work, I am going to the hairdresser for the 1st time since my hair started falling out.  I will bring the Nioxin with me so she can wash my hair with that.  I am getting a cut and color.  I don't want to go too short and don't think I'll have to.  I trust her to tell me what is best and will do what she says to make it look good and be easy to take care of.

After hair, Siehara and I need to have some dinner and then head off to choir practice.  I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but I am in a community Jewish choir that will perform on September 12 at a community event.  This is our 2nd rehearsal, so I am still learning how to get back into choir voice instead of solo voice.  I forgot how hard it can be to sing in parts and since I am an alto, I need to adjust quick.  I'll get it and it's something fun to do!!!

That's it for today, but it will take me until around 9:00 tonight, so that's enough!

God morning Trish and all of PA - Trish- your fever is starting to make me nervous - I hope it is nothing more than a stubborn virus- keep us posted!

I about to go get dressed and head into school for a few hours this morning - looking forward to seeing some people that I have not seen since June - That should be fun - then off to the pediatrician for the girls annual check-ups.  Directly following that visit - need to get my dog to the groomers - Thanks god - she is starting to look like she is growing a coat that my entire family cold wear! :)

This afternoon, I am goingto my ENT - So hopefully going to get a referral for a sleep study so that I can HOPEFULLY get off my c-pap machine!  YAHOO!  Finally, my little, much taller, 21 year old brother is coming in today for a few days.  Can't wait to see him - according to my dad he has a purple mohawk - ahhhhh.....to be 21 again! :)  Can't wait to see his face! :)

Have a great day everyone! :)

I will probably hit Baldi either Friday morning or next week.  I have to unearth some stuff I want to take in...it is stored in my second bedroom under a pile of linens.  I then have to get some stuff from my sister's as well.  It is amazing how much junk I accumulate for work...are all teachers pack-rats or just me?

Hugs,
Trish
