Look what I found tonight on the IBC website!!!  Some of us have been having issues with being told Dr. braders new office was in network by Keystone Health Plan East...and then having it be denied/looked at as out of network once you had your visit....I have been dealing with this for 6 months now (I would rather beat my head against a brick wall than deal with hospital billing departments and insurance companies)...looks like it has finally been updated/fixed.  I am thrilled...I didnt want to have to find another doctor.  Its one thing to pay out of pocket for an office visit...but if there were ever a complication or emergency and he needed to treat me, there would be no way in hell I could afford the medical bills.  I am guessing the woman from his office that was looking into this for me had something to do with this...so I will have to call her and thank her for her help!

Just make sure your referral has his NEW number on it, not the old one that they still have posted for Langhorne.

I just thought of something....I want my damned money back!!!  I finally gave up and paid what they told me I owed.

Submit your checks/bank statements/etc to your insurance company to be reimbursed if you can't get the doctors office to resubmit and refund you the $$ themselves
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

thanks Pam...I will try that.  Although, I am tired of fighting for last year...but I can shoot for NOT being billed for my appointment last week.

great!  thank you!  i had a problem with my referral and his number when i went for my follow up in April.  my next appt is in Nov, so I will make sure all is correct this time.  thanks again for the info!

I am so glad its now correct....It's a great program and I would have hated to have to find a new doctor.  Good luck with your follow up!
