Ugh back at the starting gate
Well back at the starting gate. I was suppose to have shoulder surgery this thursday and had to get cardio clearance and found out that I had an abnormal stress test and a leaking something or other valve! Grateful they found it and upset that it was there to be found if that makes sense. So its back to my regular cardio to take care of it. I am not going to let this freak me out or should I say try not to. Before I had my gastric they found 80% blockage and I had 3 stents inserted and that was in 07 and here I am in 09 and 96 pounds less so I know that is in my favor this time. I refuse to have a pity party for myself and will do whatever is neccessary. I just need to hang in there.
Linda,
Well, you're getting very experienced at looking at the bright side of things ;-).
Glad that they foudn the valve leak now, instead of later or in your shoulder surgery! I know it's another setback to your plans, but your positive attitude will continue to keep you strong and moving forward. Hang in there...
VIRTUAL HUGS!!! And I'll give you a "real" one next time I see you at support group!

Thank goodness they found this before taking you into surgery for your shoulder - certainly don't need complications on the table!! You're going to do great -- your positive attitude is half the battle. Am sending lots of good thoughts and prayers your way - keep us posted. And hey, get out there and jump on that horse while the weather is still decent - might as well take advantage of the shoulder surgery delay!
