We'll watch the game but no huge plans. We're rooting for Indy (who will, by the way, blow the Saints off the map.)

Easy dip?

How about just combining 2 containers of Greek yogurt with a packet of Good Seasons garlic and herb salad dressing?

Or here's one from Sparkpeople, for Black Bean and Corn Dip - I'm all about EASY ideas!

    • 1 15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed or 2 cups black beans cooked at home
    • 2 cups cooked fresh, frozen, or canned corn
    • 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
    • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    • black pepper to taste

1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend for about 20 seconds or until all ingredients are smooth.

2. If the dip is too thick, stir in two tablespoons of yogurt.

I'm going back to work for my first night since Tuesday.  I will most likely spend from 7p-one hour post game time doing not much of anything.  Then the "post super bowl" madness will start when everyone who has had complaints all day but didn't want to miss the game and/or feel they will be to drunk/hung over to go to work come Monday morning and want a doctors note, will come pouring in, along with any unconscious drunks people find lying behind their sofas, and of course all the CHF-ers who over indulged in salty foods and are so full of fluid they can't breathe, along with the diabetics who have over indulged in sweet and carby food and now wonder why their at home meters are testing "hi" and/or over 500.  FUN times!

Buffalo Chicken Dip (great with celery and carrot sticks) (I'm not a hundred percent sure on these measurements...it's been awhile since I've made it and I normally just eyeball it anyway)

8 ounces reduced fat/ff cream cheese
1 - 1 1/2 cups reduced fat ranch dressing
1/2 - 3/4 cup fav wing sauce
A few chicken breasts, cooked, and shredded (or use canned chicken rinsed and drained)
Shredded Cheddar

Combine cream cheese, ranch, and wing sauce in a sauce pan and coo****il cream cheese is melted and everything is combined well.

Toss in shredded chicken, stir to coat

Pour into an oven safe dish, and cover with shredded cheddar.  Bake until cheese is all melty and bubbly.

Serve!

It IS funny BECAUSE it's so true!  It's how EVERY holiday is (be it a national holiday or one that people just want to party for....)

Mmmmm, can't say it's mostly men.  Actually - I'd prefer that as far as the drunks are concerned...they normally just lay there and suck it up and realize they can't leave.  The women...sheesh.  The tears start first....when that doesn't work the witchiness in them comes out...when that doesn't work....well we win because it ends up with them in restraints, evil ppl we are!
