Lynn?

Its almost 2:30 and just wondering if anyone has heard from Lynn.  I believe she was going in today.

 

 

Haven't heard anything but Lisa was going to see her this afternoon - I'm sure that she'll give us the full report!

went to see her and she is doing well.  She was asleep when I got there.  When she woke up and the nurses were talking to her she said that her pain was about a 6.  They sat her up while I was there and gave her the incentive spirometer so she could start her breathing exercises.  She is still just using the mouth swab for wetting her mouth.  They plan to get her out of bed to start walking within the next hour or two.  She was in good spirits and her mom is there with her.

Thank everyone, I am home and still trying to walk off my gas. I am sipping very well. I have stop taking pain meds to get this gas to pass, I am doing well and I had a nice visit from Lisa.Very sweet of her. Dr Harrison said everything went great. I will post more when I am feeling a little more energetic. On a sad note when I got into the shower at 2:30 am for hospital got the call from Nursing home that my Gram had taken a turn. Within 10 min b4 we could get there she had quietly passed with her favorite nurse. I do not think I will be able to attend funeral. She was 90 and had dementia for years I have spent aolt of time with her, I am sure she would say" you spent your time with me while I was alive" We are only having a small family only viewing b4 mass. Strangely enough i was her sons(my Godfathers) birthday. May he rest in peace with his Mom. So all in all everything went well.Crazy week. I think my poor Mom needs a vacation from it all.
Thanks everyone for all your support and prayers. I promise I am trying to walk walk walk sip sip sip. I even showered today to move some stuff along.
