Sorry again about your gram.. she is now at peace, like you said.  You may be able to do the funeral, as long as you are not the one driving.  I told you I was at Liz's the Saturday after my surgery!!

Sorry to hear about your gram.  My condolences to you and your family.  I am glad you are home and starting to feel better.  My Dr didn't want me to shower until the drain came out the following week.  You will see improvement every day.  SF popsicles were my best friend.  The gas will pass (literally) it was about 4 days for me.

Hang in there and post when you can.  Let us all know hoew things are going

PS.  Sue and I didn't go to Hazleton tonight.  there was about a half inch of snow on the roads up here when I got home from work and Hazleton is a higher elevation than here.  Sue convinced me to pass this time.  Maybe next month.

Yes strange how diff doctors can be. My dr wanted me to shower Tuesday actually. I am going to pass on the funeral, its private anyway and everyone had been to the house already.
I am doing pops   yum and some broth(chicken broth no longer my friend)   Everything is going ngreat, feel myself healing by the hour. I accidentally took childrens tylenol that wasnt SF,,,It didnt bother me though. Getting in fluids had been a breeze.

Thank you one and all...I am tired but doing great! I did miss funeral but I know its ok. I finally passed gas last night......oh what a relief. Everyone here is so kind   Imagine my surprise that someone I have net met from this board even took the time out of her day to visit me while I was the hospital....It cant get betterv than The Pa forum    I am trying to walk walk walk...I have the sip sip sip down!
