I have been missing for a couple of days. Friends of ours are having a really rough time right now so my husband and I have been spending alot of time with them. I have been trying to keep up with the posts but have still missed alot. Hope everyone is doing well now. Glad to read about Karen doing ok through the surgery. Praying for a quick recovery. Glad to hear about test results, and checkups, and renewed enthusiasim for a bunch of others. Even if I am out of the loop for awhile you all are always on my mind. I agree that this board is such a wonderful group of friends. Funny how that happens and I have never met any of you. I talk about how great you all are and that I don't know what I would do without all the love and support I have found here. I also give out this website and forum to anyone I know or talk to that is considering, having, or has had WLS. Take care of yourselves.

Hey there, I've been lurking more than posting lately.  Hope everything is okay with you and your friends.  I totally agree with you on this being a wonderful place.  Have a great weekend.

that's how it always goes! If I go away for a few days I always come home to drama! Luckily I get the texts now! lol

Thoughts and prayers going out to your friends - hope that things turn around for them soon

Hope your friends work out the issue.

And you are right, this board is wonderful. Some days I post a ton, some days I just read. But it's always a place I come to when online. The only place where EVERYONE understands where I am, how I feel, and what I have gone through.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

It is an amazing phenomenan!

I hope your friends are ok - glad they have someone like you and hubby to help them through!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
