This thread is for our daily lives which are often filled with SUCH excitement as work, kids and parents......Such excitement - BUT it does give us a place to rant if e=needed and get a kick in the ass - also if needed. So jump in..."the water is fine!"

We are a bunch of friendly people and very supportive. Roll Call is like a check-in, especially good if you don't get to face to face support meetings.
I was wondering what part of PA, or the world, you are from. We have folks from all over here, not just PAers.

Good morning Geoff and all of PA - (And a few NJ people too!)
I am at work and guess what I am doing?!?! Yup - you guessed it....TESTING!!!!! This is the last freaking day.....I am a bit LESS angry then I was yesterday and I have all of you to thank! You helped me get through this horrible time of year as a middle school teacher - and YES - there are only a FEW horrible times of the year with middle schoolers - typically I enjoy being with them....I know...I AM a little weird!
After school today I am headed for what I hope to be my last physical therapy appointment then home for dinner and off to Emily's Therapist appointment. THat is it for me today. THere is a big fundraiser at the synagogue on Saturday that I have to finish organizing for - so that is on tonight's agenda - AND...tada...Larry will be home tonight...Hooray! One night this whole week....What a birthday week to have - Oh well....It's not a biggie!

Good Morning Everyone...
Still fighting the headache and sore throat this morning. Last night I took some Tylenol Sore Throat for Night time and it knocked me out hard. I hate this feeling and can't afford to get sick I have a full weekend of work DJing. I need my voice!!!
Plus finally got my prescription approved through my insurance company so I picked that up last night and of course it is at the highest deductiable level so going to talk to my PCP to see if there is an alternate or should I just stick what is working at the moment.
I remembered to take out pork chops for dinner tonight so once home it will be dinner then we may run to the mall to pick up a gift I have been looking for Dennis' daughter.
Today is 16 months for Dennis and I time flies for sure. It feels like he has always been in my life and then other days feels like he just walked into my circle of life.

Boy, it is not even noon, and Roll Call is already two pages long.
Wednesday has me babying my leg with the phlebitis. I also need to get some mail together to send to work, as it looks like I am out for the rest of the year.
I also need to get my buttocks to the gym and soak in the hot tub, which would be good for the leg. And, an AA meeting would not hurt either.

Good morning folks!
Yesterday was a long and exhausting day, between going to NJ to see my mother in law and start figuring that situation out and getting home to get my mom to her doc appt (checkup) and dealing with an emergency at work. I had a good cry and slept like a log, but am still exhausted - emotionally and physically. I think the last few months are catching up to me.
My boss walked in this morning and said I had bags under my eyes and looked really tired (no REALLY?)... and that's AFTER my workout and taking good care with my makeup. Wonder what I looked like when I first dragged myself into the gym this morning? It's a wonder they didn't run screaming from the room!
Work today, then a training session for my Droid (should be interesting) in Bensalem after work. I'll probably also try to run by the grocery store at some point, as I'm out of several key foods. Didn't plan dinner. Oh well, we'll survive.

I got called a b#%$& on the main forum. I haven't like it ever since. All you get is snarkiness over there. I think the regulars over there (not all of 'em) just linger and wait to spring on the attack! OUCH!! I'm so NOT a b#%$& that I started looking on other boards. PA being my home state...I was hopeful to find other people like myself. I LOVE the sarcasm! The double entendras I was reading yesterday. Not too stuffy. Everyone seems very interested in each others lives.
As for daycare, the babies are great, it's the babies parents that sometimes trip me up. First time parents...holding them a lot...babies want held all day...don't let them nap too long...they won't sleep at night...so I get a lot of crying. I've found that 2 year olds and up play super together. I've got a great group of kids. Slow day today, one coming late, one out for the day... Easy, peasy.
I love reading steffihope is a teacher doing testing but you're here on OH...LOVE It!!! Most teachers I know are too stuffy to admit they'd do that. Gotta' do something to stay awake! and Lisa H...checking out the guys in the gym...I swear if I admitted that I'd get called a ***** on the main board! LOVE IT!!! I'm married, not dead! Of course I look too! and to see guyh here jokin along...I totally want to play here.
I live in Warren, PA...an hour+ east of Erie PA. That's where I had my surgery. It's a *****illy here today but the sun's shining and I'm hopeful it will warm up. Might actually get a walk in too. If walking were an Olympic event I could totally compete! I can walk forever, but formal classes exhaust me. Walking does nothing for the arms though, so, like I said, today is pilates. I'll let you know when I actually accompli**** That will keep me motivated knowing that I'm accountable to someone somewhere.

We are a great group of trustworthy people. If someone doesn't know an answer they will either give you suggestions of where to find out or just reach out with a hug.
Double entandres and sarcasm will only pick up next week when our dear friend Eric comes back from Aruba. Not that Steffi doesn't provide most of the entertainment.. YES STEFFI.. giving you the credit.. even though I am pretty darn entertaining myself!

I feel guilty as hell when I screw up and have to report it to the rest of the world and that gets me back on track.
