"May we all walk in peace today. And if not, may we know that we can walk together and eventually find peace."

Shared by a friend... and I think it captures the essence of how support like this community strengthens each and every one of us.

Just wanted to share it with you, my friends who are walking with me.

I really like that statement, Karen.  I've come back to read it a couple of times and have just saved it in a Word doc.  Thanks for sharing it with us!!

My pleasure... it really captures the essence of what we do here and what we mean to each other, doesn't it?

Really?!  Must you make a girl all misty eyed while she is at work?  Hmmm?!

Gorgeous and I absolutely love it.  And have experienced it first hand

Love it! Like Pam I have also experienced it first hand on more then one occasion.

So watch out world because when they see all of us walking together they are in for the shock of their lives!

I just had a thought of this whole board walking down a big street arm in arm...holy crap...what a sight that would be!

Pam, if we walked arm in arm down a big street, the whole world would stop and say, "Who ARE those gorgeous women!!!!" (And guys, too, but you know what I mean!)

So I just made that the marquee on my screen saver... it definitely defines the friendships I have found on this board.

and yes, all of us walking hand in hand down the street.. can't break through that bond for anything!

Nice pic!  There are fleeting moments I wish I lived in a time like that...but then the thought of doing my hair, makeup, wearing a skirt EVERY day makes me go "uh...no thanks" lol

TOO true... although for me it's the thought of gloves and hats!

The thing that always gets me in pics from times like that, though, is how the MEN dressed - i mean the suits and ties and hats at ballgames!  Sheesh!
