One for the Girls - HELP!!
Kathy,
I noticed that your purchased the bras from VS catalog. You need to get measured in the Victoria Secret store. Their measurements are spot on. I went from a 44DD to 34C and then 34DD after the pregnancy. Their bras fit me like I had a boob job done. It really comes down to getting yourself measured. Good Luck Kathy! I know that pain of loosing my girls

Hi Kathy,
I used to be a 46DDD and now take a 34DD. If I try to throw them in a 34D I spill out and it's not a good look. i LOVE VS body by Victoria FULL COVERAGE underwire bra. It's so worth the $40+. I usually wait until I have a $10 off coupon. I used to love their cotton underwear but they changed it and it's so not working with my saggy ass. They will measure you there but I still had to go up another cup due to excess skin. Just take a few in and try them on. I honestly spent over an hour trying on ever style of bra there. The demi is nice when you want an evening out but for everyday use and for work I love the full coverage. They are wonderful there and will keep running back to help you with sizes. I'm sure after a little while there you will love at least one of their bras...lol.
Good luck,
Tracy

I'm a HUGE fan of the VS full coverage bra. I bit the bullet and let them measure me. She measured my back too big and the cups too small at first. I'm somewhere around a 36 DD. Used to be a 44F. The full coverage bra helps hide that extra skin. Panties Im having a tough time with. I'm smaller than a 5 now but the 5 is the smallest I can find in a low rise brief.
Anyone know where I can find smaller briefs?

I too went to VS for a fitting a few times - and each type of bra that I bought, and then got resized, still had the girls spilling out the top - I finally gave up and went to a corset shop. They specialize in fitting women with various issues including those that have had to have breast surgery due to cancer - Not that that is our problem, but albeit more expensive - I have been VERY happy with the girls. They are fully covered and I know the bras will last because that is a guarantee from the private shops. good luck!
I went from a 44dd to a 36c and it's really a sad sight....sigh..
Anyhow, I like good old playtex non-underwire bras. I can get them on sale at Wal-Mart, K-mart, etc. for around $20.00.
I like this one:

All you guys ROCK!! I went to LB at lunch and am a 42 D - had to go up a band size, not a cup size. Found that Cacique bras w/full coverage and they fit awesomely!! Got 2 lined and 2 unlined (for more casual wear). Also bought some of their Cacique panties which I absolutely love, and found 2 tops, both on clearance!! So all in all a great shopping trip!!
Thanks everybody - measuring does help!

Glad you found something. I was gonna say get measured...glad you did. I also like VS bras...I live in em. But I"m thinking at some point I'll have to go try the spanx one lol
I went from a DDD to a B/C dependent on band size and what not.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

So no one has yet mentioned Bra-Lellujah by Spanx. I went from a 42D (should have been DD, but I refused to go there) to a 36C (tried B, but "spilled out" too much). Also tried a bunch of places and a bunch of styles and sizes. Yes, it's expensive (about $62 - but you can find it on sale) but OMG SOOOO worth it!
I like the "demi push-up" style, which actually makes my boobs look like something other than "empty sacks." It's nicely lined and padded on the bottom (that the push-up part), so being "on point" isn't an issue. And it's VERY durable and incredibly comfortable. The back strap (which is kinda like a wide ace bandage) prevents back-fat syndrome and the straps are wide and soft.
They have quite a few styles - with and without underwire, padding, etc., including racerback.

I do agree completely, btw, that getting measured professionally is SO worth it! But, the ultimate test is trying it on and making sure it feels good.
Hope this helps!
